Brazil of biofuels: Soy and castor bean (Vol. 1)
With the series of reports "Brazil of biofuels: Impacts of plantations on land, environment and society", the Agrofuel Monitoring Centre of the NGO Repórter Brasil starts a systematic support of the impacts caused by crops used in the production of agroenergy. The work is divided into three annual reports and aimed at assessing the socio-economic, environmental and agricultural effects as well as those on indigenous and traditional communities of soy and castor bean (Vol. 1), palm, cotton, corn and jatropha (Vol. 2), sugarcane (Vol. 3).
