In this study, GM evaluates the WTW fuel chain efficiency and greenhouse gas emissions of various transportation fuel pathways in the 2010 European context, including crude oil, natural gas, electricity and biomass based pathways. A detailed description and analysis of these pathways is provided in Chapter 3 "Fuel chain efficiency and greenhouse gas emissions" of the Annex "Full background report".
