The Biofuels country attractiveness indices Q1-2 2008 edition includes individual scores for bioethanol, biodiesel and infrastructure, plus a combined score making up the All Biofuels Index. Brazil continues to lead the drive towards globalization of Biofuels markets by reinforcing its export capacity and opening up to foreign investment from India. Tightening of credit markets causes deterioration in the US and European biofuels markets as the relentless rise in feedstocks prices prevails across the globe. There are signs of some developing Asian industries, such as Indonesia and India beginning to stagnate in the absence of sufficient forward momentum from government incentives.
