EU extends biodiesel anti-dumping measures to Canada

In Belgium, the European Union's Council of Ministers approved extending the $566.4 per metric ton anti-dumping duty to Canadian biofuel exports–in addition to those already leveraged on US imports of biodiesel blends higher than 20%. The European Commission, the EU's bureaucratic arm, proposed the policy in late March in response to findings regarding the dumping practices after the European biodiesel industry complained of unsavory trading.
